Installing it
Pop the lens covers off with a plastic trim tool, not a flathead screwdriver, so you do not crack old brittle plastic. Pull the stock bulb, check the socket for corrosion, and push the new LED in firmly, making sure the contacts seat. If a light does not come on, flip the bulb 180 degrees before you assume it is dead.
- Pop the lens covers off. They clip in, and they come off with a firm pull. Start at one corner.
- Pull the old bulb out. Push the new LED in.
- Turn the light on. If it does not light up, pull it out and flip it 180 degrees. LEDs are polarity sensitive.
