Which kit fits your Skoda Kodiaq

Stock interior bulbs in the Kodiaq are ordinary incandescent units. They put out a warm, dim light that can make the cabin feel dated. This kit replaces them with LEDs that are brighter and rated to last up to 50,000 hours, so you won't be swapping bulbs often. It also draws less power than the original bulbs.

Installing it

Most of the work is prying off plastic lens covers with a trim tool, which the kit includes. Work in a warm space so cold plastic doesn't crack, and keep a small container for the screws you remove. Test each LED before you push the cover back on, since some sockets only work one way.

1. Pop the lens covers off. They clip in, and they come off with a firm pull. Start at one corner.
2. Pull the old bulb out. Push the new LED in.
3. Turn the light on. If it does not light up, pull it out and flip it 180 degrees. LEDs are polarity sensitive.
4. Work through the remaining locations the same way, then re-seat any loose lens.
