Installing it
Work with the interior lights off and the keys out of the ignition. Plastic trim tools pop the lens covers without scratching, and a small flathead screwdriver works in a pinch. Test each bulb before you snap the cover back on, since LEDs are polarity-sensitive and may need to be flipped if they do not light.
- Pop the lens covers off. They clip in, and they come off with a firm pull. Start at one corner.
- Pull the old bulb out. Push the new LED in.
- Turn the light on. If it does not light up, pull it out and flip it 180 degrees. LEDs are polarity sensitive.
