Installing it
Work with the interior lights off and the key out of the ignition so you do not blow a fuse while swapping bulbs. A plastic trim tool is the right way to pop lens covers, since a flathead screwdriver will scratch the plastic. Test each bulb as you go before you snap the cover back on, and keep the old bulbs in the glovebox as spares.
- Pop the lens covers off. They clip in, and they come off with a firm pull. Start at one corner.
- Pull the old bulb out. Push the new LED in.
- Turn the light on. If it does not light up, pull it out and flip it 180 degrees. LEDs are polarity sensitive.
- Work through the remaining locations the same way, then re-seat any loose lens.
