Installing it
Work with the interior lights off and the car cool so you are not handling hot bulbs. Use a plastic trim tool to pry lens covers gently, and keep track of screws or clips in a small tray. Test each bulb before you push the lens back on, since reversing the polarity is easy on some sockets.
- Pop the lens covers off. They clip in, and they come off with a firm pull. Start at one corner.
- Pull the old bulb out. Push the new LED in.
- Turn the light on. If it does not light up, pull it out and flip it 180 degrees. LEDs are polarity sensitive.
- Work through the remaining locations the same way, then re-seat any loose lens.
